Senior Sales/Sales Manager

CNC Design is seeking  talented people to join their sales team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Reporting to the country manager, the senior sales/sales manager will be largely responsible for the achievement of sales goals, development of business with existing machine tool endusers or machine tool makers and the establishment of new accounts within an assigned technology/customer base.

There is a strong focus on account management involved in this role so a part of the daily work will be to develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the customer’s organization. A major component of this position will be to prepare and deliver sales quotations for complete motion control systems and following them up.

It is important for the applicant to demonstrate ability to:

• Observe the customer's environment and identify underlying customer values and business drivers.
• Communicate the value and benefits of Siemens motion control products products for machine tool application to customers and all levels of the market. 
• Differentiate CNC Design’s offering from competitors and demonstrate superior value.
• Listen for clues and cues that can assist in the identification of potential business.
• Operate within a team or independently
• Adopt professional sales skills and processes
• Make decisions and take accountability for actions.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

The successful candidate will have:

• An electrical or mechanical trade qualification or diploma in a relevant industrial field (equivalent technical qualification will be considered),
• At least 5 years relevant post-qualification extensive experience in one or more of the focus industries.
• Proven skills in solution sales, technical sales and market development
• Excellent planning, communication, coordination and organizational skills
• All applicants must be fluent in written and spoken English.

DESIRABLE

The following would be advantageous:

• A background in machine tool technology and automation systems
• Specialist training and knowledge of Siemens Automation and Drives equipment
