Tools Dealer Support Activities in Indonesia and Thailand
It has been recognized that machine tool dealers play dominant
role in promoting Siemens SINUMERIK as the stipulated CNC
control in every machine sold by them. In fact, machine tool
dealers determination in generating the push effect and the
existence of pull effect from the potential buyers at the
other side, is the perfect combination for Siemens SINUMERIK
to be sold along with the machine.
Having this in mind, Siemens AG A&D MC MT and its representative
world wide place their best commitment to provide any possible
supports for machine tool dealers and the potential buyers
for increasing market acceptance on Siemens CNC control. Such
supports become more crucial particularly for the market in
importing countries like most countries in South East Asia.
CNC Design have recently assigned by its counterpart in Siemens
A&D MC MT to run specific Machine Tool Dealer Support
program in Indonesia and Thailand. CNC Design office in associated
countries will be providing the necessary resources including
a dedicated person in each country.
Range of activities including:
- Complimentary training for sales and engineers from machine
tool dealer who sell SINUMERIK
- Joint sales presentation at customer sites with machine
tool dealers
- Provision of sales tools including brochures and access
to SINUMERIK simulators available locally
- Application support provided by a dedicated dealer support
personnel
- Promotional campaign on Siemens CNC Control system in
vocational and educational institutions
The activities have been started since 2nd
quarter of 2003. Dedicated personnel have been assigned to
enable focused supports. Hendro S. Priyanto
(Hendro_Priyanto@cncdesign.com.au) is responsible for dealer
support activities in Indonesia while Rajeev Madhyastha
(Rajeev_Madhyastha@cncdesign.com.au) hold similar responsibilites
for Thailand market. In addition, a direct communication link
with Dealer Support Coordinator in Siemens Germany has been
established for comprehensive supports. (06/2003).
