- Compact and Cost Effective Distributed I/Os
With the Simatic ET 200eco distributed block
I/O Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D) is widening its
range of distributed Simatic ET 200 I/O devices. The Siemens
ET200eco is a cost effective alternative to tedious field
wiring, with Profibus DP interface.
The Siemens ET200eco is a compact, low cost
I/O for processing digital signals. Constructed to IP67 degree
of protection with a fast & flexible connection method, makes
this ideal for replacing large amounts of machine wiring,
as well as the need for terminal boxes. Simply supply 24Vdc
power and Profibus DP communications. Connecting up is particularly
simple using the standardized Ecofast connection system.
Module variants
include 8DI, 16DI, 8DI/8DO (1.3A), 8DI/8DO (2.0A), 8DO (1.2A),
16DO (0.5A). Transmission rates up to 12 Mbit/s. The M12 plug
connectors of the 16-channel modules can each accept two connections.
So, for example, twin-channel sensors can be connected to
the 16 DI module. Hydraulic valves of a power up to 48 watts
can be connected to the 2-amp outputs of the DO modules.
