for Tissue Converting
In tissue converting line, web tension is very critical while
maintaining high speed operation. In line process can be varied
i.e. printing (CI flexo), embossing, perforating etc.
Machine sections in general are unwinder (usually surface
type), infeed tensioning, in line process, outfeed tensioning,
and unwinder. The solution is based on following main components:
- MASTERDRIVE MC provides Virtual Master operation controlling
9 sectional drives. The tension control is very critical
in Tissue web processing.
- Dancer pot and load cells are used to measure the actual
web tension.
- PLC412-DP ensures fast processing time.
- AFE (Active Front End) option will enable reliable and
energy-saved operation
Main
features include:
- Web speed can be increased from 450m/min to 1000m/min
- No web breakage is permitted during normal/fast stop
(from 1000MPM to zero in 20s).

Design has completed re-engineering projects for world class
tissue converting lines for toilet rolls including
- Cobden Chadwick (Tissue Paper Embossing and Rewinding,
involving CI Flexo)
- Perinni (Tissue Paper Embossing and Rewinding, involving
CI Flexo)
